THURSDAY 12 SEPTEMBER Presented by Mark Lawson
THE LIVERPOOL BIENNIAL
Liverpool is the only city in the UK to host a Biennial of contemporary visual art. Tonight's Front Row is live from the Pleasant Street Board School, one of the venues where the event is held.
Mark Lawson talks to Marc Quinn, the artist who cast his head in his own blood and froze it. Quinn's new piece, 1+1=3, opens at Cammel Laird Shipyards in Birkenhead.
The John Moores exhibition of contemporary painting is the UK's most prestigious painting competition, showcasing some of the finest British-based artists. Mark Lawson talks to the winning artist.
