THE CHAIR
This week sees the start of a television show featuring a chair designed to make the sitter feel uncomfortable. John McEnroe is hosting a BBC1 gameshow in which contestants are wired to a electronic chair which measures heartbeat. The winner is the one who answers both correctly and coolly.
