ORSON WELLES
Orson Welles was working on a film entitled The Other Side of the Wind when he died in 1985. The film exists in unedited form in a Californian film vault. Plans to complete the project for release next year appear to have been thwarted by Welles' daughter Beatrice, who objects to the involvement of a former girlfriend of her Father. SOMERSET MAUGHAM
Front Row explores the work of writer Somerset Maugham with novelist Allan Massie, filmmakers Belinda and Philip Haas, screenwriter and director repsectively of the recent big screen version of Maugham’s Up At The Villa, and to Mark Rosenblatt, director of the new touring version of The Circle.
The Circle opens at Malvern Theatre on Tuesday 27 August, moves to Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, Edinburgh's King's Theatre, Greenwich Theatre in London, and the tour ends on Saturday 26 October at the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
