In part 3 of Alwynne's audio diary, recorded in 2003/4, as she composed her BBC-commissioned Piano Concerto Map of the Moon, Alwynne: tackles the 2nd section of her piece; tos and fros between Bergen and London; is inspired by T.S. Eliot, and Norwegian snow storms.

The first broadcast of Map of the Moon performed by Nicolas Hodges (piano) with The BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra conducted by Zsolt Nagy can be heard on Radio 3's 
Hear & Now on Saturday April 28th at 10.30pm.
