The first two pieces have been aired before on Late Junction. Although I have known them for some time before the programme started. To my knowledge nothing has been played from Keith Jarrett's "Arbour Zena", a recording which the artist considers one of his most important releases.If ever there was a to be a successor to Barbers "Adagio" then Aaron Jay Kernis "Muscica Celestis" must be it.
