BACKGROUND
THREE POPULIST BANDS/ARTISTS WORKING OR BEING WORKED IN A LESS THAN POPULIST MANNER.

(1985) NEW ORDER'S INSTRUMENTAL REVEALS MORE THAN A SHADE OF PHILIP GLASS.

(1998) PULP'S ISN'T SO MUCH A REMIX BUT THE ANNE DUDLEY STRING ARRANGEMENT FOR THE SONG.

(2006) BECK GETS THE REMIX TREATMENT FROM BOARDS OF CANADA. APPARENTLY SO GOOD THAT IT ALMOST MADE IT ONTO GUERO AS THE DEFINITIVE VERSION.
