GLS are simply wonderful. If you play even one of these tracks it would be great, though these three fit together well. Understated and haunting music from Canada. Their first album was recorded in an abandoned grain silo (crickets in the background as an accompaniment!), the second, 'Bodies and Minds' was recorded in a (wooden) church. To me, there is a spiritual element which comes through. 'Various Stages' is appropriately melancholic, and about manic depression. Underlying everything, however, is a sort of joy and feeling of redemption.
