BACKGROUND
These 3 pieces are all linked by the word "earth". The track by Francis Cabrel is just fabulous - in my opinion he is the best living French singer/songwriter (a great poet) and this song is the best on his best album to date. The electroacoustic music by Natasha Barrett works well as a lengthy (you may need to play just an extract) non-vocal interlude, which then dissolves effectively into Brian Eno's track, "Just Another Day" (on earth). Most Late Junction listeners will know the Eno already, but I think the other pieces will be well received.
