BACKGROUND
Three beautiful, cathartic pieces of unclassifiable music from Europe's Celtic and Nordic fringes. Scot Smith turns a traditional tune into a quiet epic, Sigur Ros remind me of dreaming of Iceland in earlier years, long before I ever set foot there, and Breton Stivell, to paraphrase Arnold Bax, reveals the Celt in me!
