Eliza Carthy: Mons Meg (5 mins 26 secs)
Album: Rice
Topic TSCD494

BACKGROUND
The first choice, Velvet Green shows the shear beauty of voice and acoustic instruments coming together in harmony. Its a tale of youth, love and growing old. The second is on common ground but is a song of life, conforming and questioning. The third is a haunting track played in the traddition of folk "rough". Goes to show that you don't need a qualafication to play music that can have an effect on the soul.
