BACKGROUND
Three ethereal and heavenly tracks that mix the genres of rock, jazz and classical music. The obvious common theme here would perhaps be nature and the human voice.
First we have the gospel style vocals of Barabara Walker against the more ceremonious singing of the Kettwiger Bach Choir in a track from Uri Caine's, 'Dark Flame.'
Next there's the intimate and lush soprano of Ashild Stubo Gunderson in Terje Rypdal's live work at the Molde Jazz Festival in 2000, 'Lux Aeterna.'
And finally, we have the graceful and languid vocals of Mark Hollis against the angeic backdrop of Chelmsford Cathedral Choir.
Pure beauty, pure bliss and so many goosebumps!
