BACKGROUND
Philosophers, writers and scientists have been debating for a few millennia about the question what time is. Music shows it all: In a piece called "Time" The Polish band KROKE lets you feel what time is, without using words. The clock is ticking, and the heart is beating. In the melancholic "It was a very good year" Frank Sinatra sings about growing older, getting to the autumn of the year, and feeling "life as vintage wine". The best answer, I have heard, to the question of time (again a reference to wine) is: "Time is an empty bottle of wine", a line in the cheerful composition with the same title from the unorthodox Dutch jazz musician Willem Breuker.
