BACKGROUND
Everyone already feels that they know the Rock standard 'Louie Louie' and that it has no worth. Listening to these 3 wildly different versions should shake that assumption, and awaken that perpetual question; 'Whoh! What is Music, and why do I like it so much?'
COMMENTS
I sometimes wonder if La Folia wasn't the Louie Louie of the Baroque era, spawning endless covers and derivatives. Looks like I'd better dust off my Best Of Louie Louie albums! I particularly like the Les Dantz version (in the style of David Bowie). Jerry Bakewell
