BACKGROUND
I especially love ancient music and electroacoustic music. In my opinion there is a somewhat weird connection between them as both of them try to put the listener's ear very close to a detailed sound source, whatever the instrument actually is. This helps create an intimate relationship between the listener and the music itself. Arvo Part's composition and arrangement techniques often display a neo-baroque aesthetics approach that makes them quite attractive to me as well.

I was about to ask for that Purcell track as well, thank you. Also thanks for your Part pick, which is one of my favourite ones together with his older opus Kanon Pokajanen. Don't know much about Victor Cerullo anyway.
