The New Art Gallery, Walsall
Name:
Angela Steatham
Building:
The New Art Gallery
Location:
Walsall
What is your relationship to this building?:
Walsall is my home town, and therefore I am a resident and a frequent visitor to the Gallery.
Why do you love this building?:
Because it is a bold statement in terms of architecture. It has won international accolades for a Black Country town with a poor image. It proves that regeneration can be kick-started by culture. It is a community building of high quality and with a purpose complemented by its design.

The BBC's Black Country website invites you to discover the New Art Gallery: http://www.bbc.co.uk/blackcountry/
