Coventry University Lanchester Library Location:
Coventry What is your relationship to this building?:
Being a mature nursing student at Coventry University the library has become my second home Why do you love this building?:
The Lanchester Library is such a breath of fresh air on an otherwise uninspiring post-war cityscape.
On a sunny day the towering ventilation shafts rising high into the sky, rather reminiscent of latter day castle turrets, cast the most extraordinary shadows.
This truly is a functional building that manages to challenge the eye.
