HOW TO ENTER
2003 Award
YFA 2003 award
Entry to the 2003 competition is now closed.

For information, if you are interested in trying next year, entry to the competition is via a short entry form and a recording lasting no longer than 10 minutes.



ENTRY RULES

  • All entrants should be aged between 15 and 20 years

  • Entrants should live in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland)

  • Groups should not consist of more than 6 performers.

  • An individual can make a maximum of 2 entries provided one entry is as part of a band (three performers or more) and one entry is as a soloist or duo.

  • Entrants should be happy to make music with people they have only just met.

  • Entry forms must be accompanied with a recording lasting no longer than 10 minutes. Cassette, CD, minidisc and DAT format are all acceptable.

  • The line-up on the recording must be the same as the line-up which will attend later stages if invited, and the recording must be a representation of a live performance. ALL musicians featured on the recording must be aged between 15 and 20 years.
