Web Resources
The Nick Drake Files
Still probably the best place to go on the web for information about Nick Drake. Long established, it contains an a-z of Nick Drake, guitar tabs for budding imitators, archive interviews and further links.
Nick Drake.com
Another great site, with a resource for musicians, a message board filled with enthusiastic fans and an interesting selection of quotes about Nick.
Nature's Son
Slightly less interesting than the other sites, but has an extensive photo gallery filled with many of the most famous shots of Nick.
Nick Drake Admiration Page
More of a forum for fans than an actual website, this also contains information on the annual gathering at Nick's hometown (and burial place) Tanworth-in-Arden.
Nick Drake - A Place to Be
Robin Frederick is an American singer-songwriter who knew Nick when he was living in Provence prior to making his first album. Her website contains this interesting article, previously published in Mojo magazine.

BOOKS
Nick Drake - The Biography
Patrick Humphries
The first serious biography of Nick, this is a worthwhile study of Nick's life and music, with contributions from many of Nick's friends and collaborators. Unfortunately Joe Boyd declined to be interviewed, but, minor quibbles aside, this is probably the best place to go if you want as close to a definitive portrait as it's ever possible to get with Nick Drake.
The People's Music
Ian MacDonald
This collection of the late music critic's work contains a wonderfully erudite essay on Drake's music, again originally printed in Mojo magazine but well worth revisiting for an insightful view of his music as art of the highest order.
