One World's Biography

One World was set up in June 2000 to expand on the music championed across the specialist output on Radio 1. Former Kiss FM DJ Paul Thomas was brought on board to steer the One World ship.

Over the years the programme has supported music from a vast array of artists including from all over the world and across the genres. We've also brought music to Radio 1 not supported anywhere else through the One World Jukebox.
