Klaxons, Golden Skans live from Leeds Met

Went to the hexagon in reading for the nme gig. Mumm-ra were good, the view too croaky, the automatic were ace but...I have been to many gigs in my life and the horrors are the worst band I have ever seen. They are crap!!!!!!!!! How can anyone say they like them? It would be too much of a compliment to call that music. ANYONE could do a better job than the "singer", the music was all screechy and makes you fidgity. Ladies had their hands over their face and many people left to get a drink. They deserved their boo off set.
Adam

I went to the Rock tour in Exeter last night! It was amazing! However, I didn't get to see the Horrors whole set as I mananged to collapse a massive 7 times! I had to sit with the paramedics for their set =[ I was right back in the centre for the View though! Haha! Truly awesome night! I want it again!!

I went to the NME Rock tour in Belfast and the View were amazin, the Horrors were terrible, you just could'nt make out a word the lead singer was sayin and his climb up the balcony was laughable, I actually wish he had climbed out that window and never come back! lol The Automatic were alright but the View were outstandin, turned up half way through Mumm-ra, they sounded good.
Nicky (Northern Ireland)

Went to the NME rock tour at Norwich UEA! The view were amazing, the crowd were singing 'The view are on fire' The Automatic were awesome aswell, great live band! Mumm-Ra were good too, and the horrors were just mad!! he jumped in the crowd! great night!
Michael

I went to the gig in Liverpool last night. The queues were a bit much. dunno if thats always the case. Thought the horrors would sound better without the singer if i can call him that. Liked they're music. The view were really good but i was disappointted to see everyone leaving after them. The automatic were outstanding the energy was intense. The moshpit during the automatic was strange but good. Downside was no Gold digger.
Martin (Liverpool)

went to the NME rock tour at the Hexagon, Reading- best night ive had in ages! Mummm Ra (what was up with the duck on the stick!?!) and The View were brilliant- everyone singing along to 'same jeans'! Automatic prob the best one - everyone went mad when they were on, singing along to every song. those guys are so energetic! the Horrors were.. different, got a lil scared wen they came on! Top night- such a gd line up! BRILLIANT!
Kirsty (Reading)

Indie rave in glasgow, best gig i have been too in ages! how amazing are CSS! They opened with 2 unlimited - no limit was immense. just a shame there were so many little emo/goth punks trying to be cool with glow sticks n what not, go to a real rave you losers and ride the magic sea biscuit!
J SCOTLAND

Went over to Wolverhampton for the NME indie rave tour the other night on the train with some mates.. I've seen Klaxons before but they were on top form, especially with the new album tracks they hadn't done before.. Magick just sent the place MENTAL!!! All the bands were immense, great night.. The Lovefoxx put on a good show and The Sunshine underground were right up for it! Along with New Young Pony Club's ice cream.. Oh, and meeting James from the Klaxons for the second time after the gig was also a pretty nice bonus! Amazing night :)
Richy (Leicester)

I saw the Indie Rock Tour at Norwich UEA, Mumm ra were the best band followed by the Automatic. The view were OK, but not amazing. The horrors, were horrible
Callum Ringer

went to the indie rock and indie rave tours in cardiff on saturday and sunday. both nights were amazing, the automatic were the best at the indie rock show. very dissapointed at the failure of the horrors to show due to illness though. the indie rave tour was incredible. klaxons and CSS ruled the show. slightly dissapointed at the sunshine underground and surprised by the show put on by NYPC. Lovefoxx from CSS crowd surfed over me which was the most orgasmic moment of my life. summury in one word.....BUFF.
Bish (Surrey)

i was at the belfast gig for both rock and rave, the view were the best band at the rock tour, didn't even stay for the automatic and my mate was throw out for crowd surfing during "superstar tradesman". Atthe rave tour all the band were really good but CSS stole the show
Iain

i seen the NME Indie Rock Tour at Cardiff University on Saturday! Unfortunately The Horrors dropped out, but that made more time for the amazing Automatic to play more of thier album. Mumm-ra started it all off, and boy, did they start if off! The Lead singer kept the crowd entertained and happy! The View were second to come on, but Kyle Falconer's voice let them down, they played a good set, including same jeans and superstar tradesman, but whenever he would talk, u could'nt understand him one bit! But lastly was a huge surprise! Having seen The Automatic twice before, not-impressing me that much, they come on and played a staggering set, including raoul, recover, monster and the pick of the set, by my side! They were pretty amazing! xxx

Went to the NME indie rock tour in birmingham on the 7th february i think, it was last wednesday anway. Was amazingly brilliant. It was absolutely crazy. I was crushed when the horrors performed, and the lead singer jumped up onto one of the speakers and up on to the balcony, then nearly fell off when he was coming back down. They opened their set with jack the ripper and it was chaos from then on. The view were amazing aswell, i got thrown to the front for them, and the place exploded when they placed wasted little dj's and same jeans. I felt sorry for the automatic as most people left for that, but me and my mates found refuge near the bar and went mad in the corner, just dancing and raving like the loons we are! They ended with recover and it was brilliant! Best gig ive been to by far!
EmZ

Top night at Birmingham Acadamy. Horrors were poor, but some of the crowd liked it. Not for me tho. THe View and Automatic were amazing. Suprise of the night was Mumm-Ra. Thought they were brill. Give them a chance!!
Rob A ( Birmingham)

I went to the NME Indie Rock Tour at the Carling Academy Newcastle. The View were amazing and when they played Same Jeans, the place exploded into song and everyone was jumping. The Horrors were amazing yet slightly scary!! The Automatic were amazing and the Keyboarder has SOOOO much energy!! When Monster came on, everyone was jumping and screaming the lyrics. Only my 3rd gig but what a gig to go to!! AMAZING!
Fraser Jackson (Sunderland)

Went to the NME Indie Tour at Carling Academy Glasgow - it was really good, except for The Horrors (how appropriate is their name?!). I don't think I've ever seen a band get so much beer thrown at them! Of course, I went to see THE VIEW more than any other band - they are the dogs! FANTASTIC!
Amanda

i was at the rock tour at the academy in manchester, it was the most banging gig iv been to. went 4 the view really bet i was blown away by the horrors, but when the automatic played monster the place explodid but my highlight of the night was the view wich are the best newest band out since the arctic monkeys 10/10 night
