What is In New DJs We Trust?

In New DJs We Trust is Radio 1's showcase for the hottest new DJ talent

The show is designed to ensure Radio 1 continues to champion the most important new dance music genres from the UK, whilst also giving new and emerging talent their first chance to broadcast on national radio.

Each DJ plays once every four weeks and after 36 weeks the entire line-up is reviewed by Pete Tong, the show's champion, with possible DJ additions, new genres and changes made to the mix.

When the show was announced in 2005 Pete Tong: "I feel proud to be involved from start to finish. The plan with the show is to stay fresh and react to what's hot out there. The DJs are promising and will cover genres across both underground and mainstream dance. I look forward to watching them grow."
