HIts & Ches
The one track that is blowing up big time over on the island is a remix of the polices walking on the moon, (I think it uses a Mutiny track also)Tongy played it on his show. I've seen grown men cry at space when the vocal drops (a future terrace anthem I think)... does anyone know where i can get it from?
James
Ibiza rocked this year, best moment for me was at Bora Bora, sun beaming down on people who cant stop dancing and oh my god have I never heard such a tune with a funky booming bassline in my life, thank you Dj Louca and Funkfoundation for 'what is funk', well my answer would be you guys, it rocked bora bora big time.
Charlie 'House Lover'

A real crowd pleaser is 'Loops & Tings' by Marco V, especially the Judge Jules re-edit.
DJ Trevor P - Playa D'Embosa
picture the scene in space and the scene at bora bora, without fail, flash dance rocked it every time. and does anyone know the name of that tune where it sounds like a women is saying "we like handbags" in a really shrill voice, audio bullys rocked that at pacha.

Paul - London
Just got back from the white isle - tunes that were doing it for me down at pacha were KNEE DEEP - so divine, SANDY B - Back Together, MIRABEAU - Back From Outer Space, but the top vocal tune has to be the original mix of HARDSOUL - Back Together. Slow burner for a long time but now finally getting the exposure. Superb.
Jon Darwen
Filterheadz 'Yimanya' Mark Freejack played it @ Floorfillers in Eden,Blew the roof off,Nice one mark!!!!!!!!!
Sophie Anderson
coming back from la isla this summer, considering all the predictions, the bomb was "Take u inside" - Dj Gee& Pigbwoy. Deep impact track especially at 6pm after matineè@space mash.
Max Boy
*deepdish - flash dance*...definetly causeing a sensation, *coldplay - god put a smile on your face* bootleg that tim deuluxe has been playing out is amazing... dt8 sun is shining? well that title and that vocal says it all about ibiza....... can't say how impressive seeing eddie halliwell twice in one week was sheer amazingness!!! as usual his tune selection was so spot on and everything he banged on the decks was just purely electric...
oldskoolpaul

Why has nobody mentioned "Do You Know I Go Crazy" (Phunk Investigations Remix) by Angel City feat Lara Mcallen? I loved the Robert Miles Children track and think this one is even better. Other than that, usual faves in the form of Shapeshifters, Scent plus DT8 and David Guetta. Bring on Ibiza 2005!!
Andy - London
Does anyone know how the song "so damn beautiful" is from?

Just back from the Island last week and about to jump on a plane this afternoon for the radio1 weekend. Ibiza, is rocking this year!!! The biggest tune I heard by a long long way was The love freekz, shine. in the big clubs, in the bars. Absolutely everywhere. HUGE!
tony pattison
Eric Prydz (Call on me) has to be the tune which will rock the Space Terrace this year. Big up the Tribal Massive!!!
Andrew Marwood
Deep Dish "Flashdance" (Skylark Remix), Harry Romero 'What Happened", Soul Central "Strings Of Life (Danny Krivit Re-edit) and Specktrum "Kinda New", Deepsky "Talk Like A Stranger" (Nic Fanciulli Remix). That'd by my Top 5. Yoshitoshi to rule the roost at long last - so deserving of being 'THE LABEL' of the summer. Could release a comp of the back of this years Ibiza i recks...Have Fun To All!
Cowie
I'm my humble opinion: Eric Prydz - 'Call On Me' and Micheal Grey 'The Weekend'
Long life to Pete Tong, Judge Jules, Radio 1 and Ibiza!
Galder Zamarreno

STACEY
My favourite Ibiza tune??? Hard to say... no... I guess it's Spankox "To The Club"!!!!
George T.
definetely deep dish's FLASH DANCE is one of the best tunes this summer, i loved dusk till down - danny howells, and skylark has a couple of great tunes for the summer. ibiza will be heaven this summer
marc
Heard Stonebridge play a tune called the Black Mamba at El Divino - reminded me of the Young MC, great track that you can't fail to shake your ass to. Beware the Black Mamba indeed!
El Divino fan
Spektrum 'Kinda New' (Tiefschwarz mix) Just awesome.
Charlotte- London
The top tune of 2004 has to be Stonebridge 'Put 'em high', a Hed Kandi classic which blew the roof off El Divino at the opening party. I still cant get it out of my head now!! Next in line for me is Michael Gray's 'weekend', first heard it at Mambo, heavenly
Scott N, Chester

Paul- London
I've been on the Island for a week, and i've heard the Flower Power everywhere. This is set to become an Ibiza classic !!!!
Lisa Shaw
The best pumping tunes of this summer is for shure "ReMOVIDAS - Pincia Samba".... it has that summer flavour that keeps all dance floor upside-downd..... FRESH AND PUMPING..... and i've also listen to DISCOMISSILE DUB... Absolutely one of the best DISCO-CRASHING TUNES... AMAZING.. a must for all dancefloor....
Alex T.
Would like to say cheers to JENNA MK for her support, get yourself back out here and I´ll ply you with free drinks.....haha. New bigs choons on the Ibiza scene would be Eric Prydz "Call On Me", Max Linen´s "Flashback", Live Element "Something About You", Gaudino "Destination Unknown" and the alternate mix to "Lola´s Theme". Things are finally heating up in San Antonio, it seems as if the Ibiza summers are getting shorter and shorter.....adios.
Rob Marchant, Koppas Bar, Ibiza
It has to be Gitano by Instylus. It's such a feelgood summer record with a pure ibiza guitar melody and a funky bass percussion thing going on. It's got classic written all over it...
Mingus, London
Got back from Ibiza a couple of weeks ago and 'Lola's Theme' still the track of the year for me, but 'Rock Music' and 'Hit Em High' are still major Hed Kandi faves. Loved the new Erica Badhu mix being played at Sa Trinxa and Morillo playing a dub/new mix(?) of Donna Summer's 'I Feel Love' @ the Opening night of Subliminal @ Pasha - another Donna Revival perhaps?
Paul JB
Well, Flashdance is creating big noise on the few REAL dancefloors left here. Steve Angello's & Eric Prydz tracks are causing serious damage as well. The rest of the Beirut cheese-filled clubbers love "California Dreaming" and the various mixes of "7 Nation Army"... Voodoo Magic also not bad, but again Steve Angello's mix saves the day! Can't wait for Ibiza's closing parties in october where the anthems are already established!
Mad-Jam, Lebanon
The Essence (DJ Yellow remix)- Jody Watley........pure Ibiza......i will be playing it on the 5th for the Utopian Festival party in Ibiza.,.....look out !
King Britt
best tune at the moment is Ohm Boys ( Thinking Of You ) WOW what a tune is that it gets me going when im asleep in bed thats when i first heard it in my bed listering to the tidyweekender on the essential mix and that was it i was up a dancin on my bed at 1.30 in the morning but i will always remeber that tune 4 ever
jon coulter
Just returned from Ibiza on Wednesday and without doubt the two biggest tunes out there were Flashdance by DeepDish and Strings of Life by Soul Central. Both tunes went down an absolute storm at space and Sanchez had Pacha off the map with them!
Defected Dave
deep dish flashdance is defo a huge one... others I reck are Mutiny's "Holding On" and anything by Erick Prydz!!
miss t'ing
SYDENHAM/FERRE - SANDCASTLES.
What a tune. It reminds me of 'Jaguar' and 'Blackwater' from a few years back...
Tom Stephan's been playing out the vocal mix featuring Jon Marsh of Beloved fame... Also still loving 'SWEET HARMONY' rework.
And CARL KENNEDY - THE LOVE YOU BRING...
These tunes are scorchio!
Dan Alexis
May be a little early for Ibiza but Dinno Lenny's back on form with a stompng new track called Utopia. Get you cpoys now before vocals are added and they spoil it. Also dont miss out on the B side to Shine by The Love Freekz. That's going to be rocking some dance floors by about September.
Andi SupaCute
I first heard Lola's theme on the first essential selection of the year (with Lottie) & i have loved it ever since, but the new added vocals havd ruined it & I just hope we hear the Original version in Ibiza for the Radio 1 weekend. PS, a big thank you to Radio 1 for the Secret party tickets !!
Chimpy
Where do I start??...... Flower Power - 'Flower Power'

my favorite Song is Stellar Project - Get Up Stand Up" (phunk Investigation mix) Ciao
Tote DJ Italy
Just got back this morn, gutted. Tune of the session was without a doubt "let the sunshine thru". Heard it first in Mambos in the funky lounge by a crackin DJ called Neil Smallridge from Bolton, it was huge in Manumission and blew apart on a plate meets Garlands @ Eden on Tuesday. Close second was defo Flashdance. Enjoy your stay lucky beautiful people.
Newtsy from Darwen
Can't believe Rob Marchant's left a message! He is the best DJ in the bars, we were in Koppas every night, his CD is wicked! Tunes I heard during July were of course the massive "Lola's Theme", "Put em High", "Give it away" and "Satellite of Love". Wish I was still there... Can anyone tell me what the name of tune is that starts "If the sun should fall from the sky" - loved it but can't remember it's name!
Jenna MK
Is Filterheadz - Yimanya being played on Ibiza. What a massivr tunes this is. This song has summer all over it. Probably it will be, at least by Armin. But for me this is the summer anthem of 2004.
Michael Hens-Amsterdam
Michael Gray - The Weekend has to emerge as a massive tune. Spankox - To The Club, Brad Carter and Skylark Rmx of Praise Cats' Shined on Me is ace!
Paul E
The thick and honey sweet beat of DT8's "The sun is shining," is yet another solid piece of music for creating great clubbing memories and for setting the TUNE of the summer season. Along with the infectious vibe of "Lola's Theme," the recent offerings of summer music 2004 continues the tradition of thump'n, roll'n and bump'n like other past massives - Planet Funk's "Chase the Sun" or Chicane's "Don't Give it Up." I only have two wishes: keep the quality of the tunes up, and that I was there to enjoy the scene with you all. PLUR
Craig Kolstad - Chicago
You heard it hear first...Champion Records is back with what's going to be the HOTTEST joint of Ibiza and beyond with their newest track "Never Let You Go" by DJ George J. feat. Sevynn. I heard the Audiowhores play it in Sheffield, England and it brought the house down.
D Rock
MAIN TUNES FOR ME IN IBIZA THIS SUMMER WERE STELLAR PROJECT "GET UP" AND FLOWER POWER "FLOWER POWER".
SEANIE B
Let STONEBRIDGE mania BEGIN! It's EVERYWHERE and finally out in August! "Baby I don't care, where you've been before, just PUT EM HIGH, AND PUT EM HIGH!"

Phil Williams
Eric prydz has three quality tunes in woz not woz, call on me but the best is slammin!!!tim deluxe choose something like a star, flash dance is top notch. I've got to take my hat off to Paul Jackson, Blockbuster is a gem.

Steven Angel,ISRAEL
Shining by lingua franca and Sandcastles by ferre and sydenham
Zulz
I think theres gonna be some quality tunes, including the likes of stellar project - get up, stand up (f and w remix) - my personal favourite. Also eric prydz - call on me and also remixes by eric. Other big tunes to listen out for are Randy Katana - In silence, Endre - Kallocain and Jurgen Vries - Deliverance, a much harder trance offering from him which im sure will be massive! Also watch out from new offerings from ATB, his new album has just been been released with a higher focus on the more housey side of his trance! Everybody enjoy Ibiza to the fullest, this year will be one to remember! Ibiza is heaven.
Bjorno Ward
So Many Times - Gadjo ... wen this was dropped pacha went crazy!
Arun Hallan
im all into the massive new tunes but its not usually the sort of music i like in ibiza but prodigy's "girl" just does it for me HAPPY DAYS PPL :)
max barker
"I Can't Explain" (Lawler's Remix) will be the best bomb under the sky!
Diego Martinelli
Check Braund Reynolds' 'Rockit!'. Another from the 'midas touched' Phonetic stable. Big guitar based breaks that had 10000 people rocking at Manumission on Monday.
Peter Parker
Shapeshifters is being caned everywhere, but it's still a quality tune.
Italian Fireflies (Black Strobe) is a cool track.
I think Flower Power is a great House Track as well.
Richard F Feat Samantha Stock Let the Sunshine Thru on Subliminal should be a real belter on the White Isle as well. can't wait to get out there!
Paul Dawes
the real big trance tunein ibiza this summer will be DEEPER by CORDEROY
Jim Torquay
Nikola Gala - Swing To Harmony...
DK Recordings
Tony Montana
DEEPDISH - FLASHDANCE!!
WATCHED AND LISTENED IN AWE AS SHARAM DEMOLISHED THE DANCEFLOOR AT PACHA ON THURSDAY BY BUILDING THE PEAK UP 4 TIMES!!! WHEN IT FINALLY KICKED BACK IN THE WHOLE PLACE ERUPTED!!!
MARTIN SOLVEGS - ROCKIN MUSIC IS ALSO CAUSING HAPPINESS ON THE WHITE ISLE.
Chris Evers
Filterheadz with 'Yimanya'. The judge has been playin it loads, Brilliant tune.

I think biggies this year will be Jimmy Hill "The Good Sandwich Vibe" on Lawlers Harlem, heard it a couple of times on Fergie's show and it's tribal house meltdown!!! also Armin Van helden's new tune and obviously Deep Dish Flashdance is just killimng it!!
Paul Masters
I'm thinking that armand's "my my my" is going to be huge, i'm from Australia, heading over to Ibiza hopefully this summer. Cant go past Lola's theme, stupidisco, stella project, and also watch out for an Aussie track called "I Am tha 1" by Mr. Timothy feat. Inaya Day. Maaaaaaasive tune! Aussie boy Jason Bye who is playing over there this year will i'm sure be ripping this track up.
Brett J
There are so many good funky tunes out at the min its hard to choose a fav, my top 5 are; 1)Stonebridge - put em high, 2) Junior Jack - Stupidisco, 3) Lou Reed Satelite of love, 4) Deep Dish - Flash Dance, 5) 25th Street - Needin. Lets keep the good tunes playing!!!
Craig - Tamworth

I do some gigs as a guest DJ in Ibiza clubs. I must say the most wanted track is 'Summer Nights' by B2DANCE. It really gets the crowd going ! This is the hottest Ibiza track of this summer.
DJ Julio
i would like Zagros & Pacific - The Grand (Harry Lemon Remix) cos it's is massive!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Richard
There are just too many huge tunes in ibiza this year.'call on me', 'david','flashdance'and 'satellite'. these are just a small selection of the ones i've fallen in love with on the white island this year.
Cat - Derby
Atfc Vs Shapeshifters - Lolas Habit & Danny Howells - Dusk Till Dawn & Deep Dish - Flash Dance there gonna be the biggest 3 this year without doubt!!!!!
Mike Jakeman
Its possitively Dan Sampson & Jhereal's "One More Dance". tuuuune!!

SPANKOX "To The Club"!! I heard it first when Tongy played it at Mambo! That's the greatest track I've heard in ages!!!!!!!
A bit of "French Kiss", and great lyrics...
Monday night, to the club
Tuesday night, to the club
Wednesday night...
Definetly the biggest tune of 2004!
Leyla - Ibiza
I'd put my money on Shout (skylark mix). Sashas re-edit of Ulrich Schnauss "on my own" and Chris and Kai "gone to heaven" when they get the sample cleared. Shapeshifters? - do me a favour!
Rab
Lola's theme was always gonna be a winner, esp now wiv vocals down! Another great dirty beat is Percy Filth's 'show me ur monkey'. Superb! Definately one for the ladies!! Jose Nunez is a gal after my own heart featuring on Eric Morillo's 'Dancing 2003'.. Still trying to find the track played by Seb Fontaine - 'to the club'? Certainly an up n comin' tunnnnna! Would love to know the artist though! Some cracking tunes out this summer - just a shame the weathers not so hot!
Bex - Slough
Alex M.O.R.P.H.s Flaming clouds Airbase remix has got to be one of the biggest dance anthems of the summer, If you ain't heard it yet, get a move on!
Stuart Gray
DT8 Project - Sun is Shining. Gonna be massive
Rob B

One tune that hasn't been mentioned yet is: Full Intention, Orange EP - Musique. I personally think that this record ROCKS. Mix it with Flashdance. Not yet been to Ibiza yet this year but hope to.
DJ Gwyney
In Ibiza right now and the tunes are the best they've been in years!! MAGNOLIA - IT'S ALL IN VAIN is definitely my fave of the summer, but SHAPESHIFTERS - LOLAS THEME will probably be the soundtrack to '04. Habe a fab summer everyone xxx
Lauren - Pudsey
Stonebridge "Put Em High" and David Morales "How Would You Feel" are the best things out there and getting lots of exposure...even though I heard them last time I was there in 2003! They both deserve prolonged success though and I hope their labels give them proper releases at the end of the summer... also looking forward to both their albums later this year!
Col - #1 Hed Kandi fan
The Flower Power is the number one tune in Ibiza !
Charles Kellly
I think one of the biggest tunes this year will be THE BEACHDRIFTA "feeling good" a wonderfull jazzy tech house track with amazing vocals, perfect for the daybreak!
David
This summer tune: La piba lechera from ¨Pibes chorros¨...thats a real hit
Fer Rubino (bs as)
Lee Cabrera is soon to release his remix of 'Call On Me' by DJ Falcon and Thomas Bangalter (a much simpler, better version than Eric Prydz one). This is SURE to follow 'Shake It' as the tune of summer! While Lola's great I think she's had her day! Trust me!
Anonymous
'Eric Prydz - Call On Me' another version of the 'valerie' track, also look out for versions from 'DJ Falcon & Thomas Bangalter' and 'Red Kult'. Deep Dish's 'Flashdance' will be the biggest prog house track this summer... also look out for another guitar sampling track by the 'Demon Lovers' which samples a Lenny Kravitz tune... The 'Sucker DJs' will no doubt release more material this summer... already huge tracks include 'Funk Bomb' and 'Fat Lick'... The Sucker DJs are my fav producers so far this year, so look out for forthcoming tracks by them... 'Ben Delay - Again' will also be a big summer tune... On the trance tip... 'Adagio for Strings' a remake of the classic William Orbit track, by DJ Tiesto...
Louis Cannell
Best tune so far has been Scient - Up and Down. I'm not sure why this is getting so little exposure. The new vocal for Lola's Theme is bloody fantastic.....just like when Sophie Ellis-Bextor jazzed up Spiller a few years back. I'm enjoying Jentina - Bad Ass Strippa but it's not really an Ibiza tune now is it...
Dave Ross
Peace Division 'Deeper' will be DC10 favourite. 'Call On Me' and 'Sweet Harmony' will probably rule Space. Can't wait till closing parties! I'll be there!
Ryan McKenna
From Mexico LOL
David Morales' "How would you feel" will make you remember Ibiza in from October till May
See you there!!
Willy
My personal opinion those we’ll be next Ibiza’s hits: with Shapeshifters (the best for sure), Brad Carter Morning Always Comes Too Soon, Michael Gray The Weekend , Erik Prydz Call On Me coming from an idea of Dj Falcon, Deep Dish Flashdance (Skylark rmx) and J.Jack Stupidisco(Hot22 rmx). There an incredible buzz around Franz Ferdinand remixed by Daft Punk! To be noticed Nic with I’m All Your Need produced by King Brain and Studio Davoli.
Guido Biondi
"Lola's Theme" looks like being the soundtrack to the summer. It would be good to get it to number one - when is it released? But we're in the early days of summer still, so will have to wait and see. Old skool house and acid house are apparently making a come-back this summer...
Lola's neighbour
I'm in Ibiza right now...biggest tunes: 1) Lou Reed 2) Flower Power 3) Max Linen
Chris Lowe
A tune which *should* do really well this summer is Ferry Corsten's "Its Time." The track follows Body Rock perfectly with its funky/electronic sound. Put this together with Shapeshifters, Junior Jack, Lou Reed, and Stonebridge and your summer soundtrack will get off to a great start!
Martin Thompson
My favourite tune now is Magnolia "Its all in vain". One of the best records so far.I think It's goin to be massive also in Ibiza.Cheers
Steve, London
Expect top 40 success for 'STONEBRIDGE - PUT 'EM HIGH' when everyone's back from the white isle/sometime soon and, of course, SHAPESHIFTERS - LOLA'S THEME'. Absolutely loving the Victor Calderone Dub of Shapeshifters.
Also loving Kosmas Epsilon's rerub of 'THE BELOVED - SWEET HARMONY'. That will destroy any dancefloor.
Another big tune for later in the season will be 'DEMONIX - SUNKISSED'. Funky, electro & delicious...
See you at the front!
Dan Alexis
Just got back from Ibiza, the tune that blew my (and everyone else's) flip flops off was a bootleg of Coldplay's 'God Put A Smile On Your Face' played by Carl Cox in Pacha. Just worked so well in the context of his set. Morillo also played it at the Subliminal opening and inevitably spoilt it with his effects box. It didn't need a live remix, Eric.
Lol A
For something a little less obvious but equally accessible check out AM Specialsts - Distant Route & Broken Mind. Both tunes nag away at you and soon you will be humming away to the perfect Space terrace record of the summer!!!
Ian
'Put Em High' has definately been rocking my world since October last year and will carry on till this October no doubt. Also REALLY loving KIENZLE & IBERLE - Touch me (Paul Rincons mix), Bob Sinclar - Sexy Dancer! Tune! Richard F :)
Terry
If you aint heard Flower Power by Flower Power check it out!!! With some vocals added, this could be the tune of the summer. Currently track 2 on Mixmag free CD this month!! Quality!!
Baz C
Ive just got back from Ibiza and all the clubs are playing shapeshifters 24/7!! the other big one to note is the dj luck mix of bros's 'I owe you nothing' which is gettin spanked on the decks too
scotty2hotty
there's Loose Cannons "i like it when ya" Moto Blanco mix really hot tune, Spektrum "kinda new" Tiefschwarz mix, Aloud "Sex & sun" part 3 Erick Prydz mix,Frankie Knuckles "Back n da day" Claptomaniacs mix, Kid Creme "doin my own thing".
Max Boy
a funky tune with a uplifting vocal has gotta be 'RED LIGHT' by TAMBERLAIN. other tunes which i think will be big this summer will be 'Flashdance' by deep dish, skylarks 'shout' and 'get up stand up' by the stella project!
mj hood
One of those tunes that makes your ears 'prick up', certainly a cut above. Love the original but not the Positiva radio edit with the added vocal verse. Why do they always have to stick a vocal on and mix down the instrumental? Of course this is for commercial appeal - sad. Some records are simply not meant to be toyed around with and the original was fine. Simply love the original and yes if not THE tune of the summer certainly one of them. Top drawer.
Steve Thornhill (Hull)
The hot season in the isle is here & im sure those 2 will rock it all season : FLASH BROTHERS - "AMEN" FLOWER POWER - "FLOWER POWER"
Gavin
Have to go w/ Richard F 'Let the sunshine through'.....remarkable
Dream, Toronto
Lou Reed 'Satellite of Love' has summer love written all over it. Also Armand V H is going to be big with 'My My My' Roll on the sunshine
thejukeboxisdead.co.uk

pietyahouse
just been clubbing on Ibiza and there's one track that they keep playin in every club !!! its called 'Summer Nights' and after some surfing the web i've found it in the US. It's from a band called B2DANCE and after downloading it I feel like on the island again. love it, this gonna be the number 1 track this summer !
Jane , Amsterdam
bobbie blanco-3am

dj progress-zebra square
Flower Power - Flower Power
Skylark - Shout
Kid Creme - Doing My Own Thing (Vocal Mix)

BRING ON THE SUMMER!!!
niall dundalk ireland
i went Ibiza last month and it was absolutley awsome, goin back in sept for the end of season parties. Shapeshifters lolas theme was played alot when i was over there so i think it will be a big summer anthem, also Armand van Heldens 'Hear my Name' will also be a big tune.in abit!
Hutchy
Shapeshifters is still a fantastic tune and prydz' call on me is gonna be HUGE for the summer but my personal fave is the Slick Pete Flash remix of David Morales' Needin U with Jocelyn Browns "I'm Gonna get You, Baby" vocal from Bizarre Inc over the top. Pure Summer Anthem!
Kevin S
Brad Carter will sound great on the terrace lets just hope Positiva don't "CHEESE" it up like they have done with Lolas theme.
Timmylad
Satelite of love big out in ibiza, heard Stellar Project loads in San An.
Mike
Stellar Project will be big, heard the Phunk mix, sounds great in ibiza
Max J
Anyone think that Portabella - Covered In Punk (Seamus Haji remix) could be big? It seems pretty peaktime to me...
Will Forbes
One of last year's biggest tunes, David Guetta's "Just a Little More Love," didn't emerge till very late on in the summer. It could mean that the big tune emerges later on in the summer. For me at the moment a few of the more progressive tunes seem to be going down well, even on funky house floors. For example Paris and Healey - Blue and The Beloved - Sweet Harmony (Kosmas Epsilon Bootleg Mix). However, I think that Brad Carter is going to be big, as are the Flash Brothers. Lola's Theme was big over Christmas and Easter, but can't do summer too! Also check out Lingua Franca - The Calling. It's a track by Pete Tong and Steve Mac which rocks! Enjoy Ibiza everyone who makes it out there...
Will Forbes
Lola's theme is SO gonna be vast, but please for the love of god people play the original, not the godawful vocal release.. Hopefully then the likes of positiva will stop thinking they need to butcher tunes to make people buy them.. Oh, that and Silver Sonic - Electric Disco Tease (Tom Neville again, under a different name)
Lionel Vinyl
Think Lola's Theme WAS a tune that got one of the best reactions on a dance floor for quite a while, just a shame it has been murdered with that awful vocal which has turned it into a nice mature cheddar!!! Could be another good year for Mr Prydz and look out for the Chocolate Puma mix of Bastian - "You've got my Love"
Andy Webb
I am so loving the heavy tune - break down the doors from the king of house , the one and only Erick Morillo who else!I just now this summer is going to be the biggest summer yet!!! :)
musicdevil
Laidback - Beautiful Day (Flex). A new Balearic classic from the Danish guys who wrote White Horse and Bakerman and are celebrating 20 years in showbiz this year! A bit of cheese and lots of soul plus that elusive Balearic magic make this a surefire winner from Cafe Del Mar to the terrace at Space.
Rob Da Bank
Definitely 'Satellite of Love'. Absolutely class.
Oz
Does the Pope Sh@t in the woods? Also big Flower Power - Flower Flower Power, Max Sedgley - Happy, Scient Up & Down, Richard F - Sunshine Thru, The Erick Prydz Valarie, "Movin On"
Will Mills
shapeshifters - lola's theme is gonna b the song of the summer. im going ibiza in 5 weeks and i'll be disgusted if i dont hear it. already my guarenteed tune of te year with 6 months to go. no tune can surpass this genius
paul harper
LOLA'S THEME IS THE SOUND OF THE SUMMER ,IV'E HEARD SOME PEOPLE ARE FED UP OF IT ! THATS BONKERS ! ITS FANTASTIC!!!
SHERM
Shapeshifters is obviously gona be huge everywhere! No doubt some of tiesto's new stuff is gona get a caining, and that fatkid mix of Oakenfolds southern sun is gona be one to listen out for! Choooon!
Ian Cooke
RICHARD F-LET THE SUNSHINE THROUGH!WHAT A TRACK FOR THE SUMMER,ALSO LOLA THEME IS A TOP TUNE ASWELL...SEE YA IN IBIZA
MATT ROWLAND
thank goodness that the funky house scene is begining to break through to the masses in the shape of lola's theme butagree with comments made that the new vocal doesn't fit well.
watch out for the 2004 remix of 'Secret Service - I'm Coming Out' a belter of a track to get one and all in the party mood :o)
dom
Big tunes for me are Eric Prydz & Steve Angello 'Woz Not Woz'. Martin Solvieg 'Im A Good Man'. Brad Carter 'Morning Always Comes Too Soon'-(Gonna Be Huuuge!) obviously shapeshifters although i hope it doesnt get overplayed & worn out! & Red Kult 'Call Me' Doing it for me over here & im sure they will when i get over there! enjoy :)
Pete
JUST GOT BACK FROM IBIZA ON MONDAY AND LOLA'S THEME IS HUGE OUT THERE ALREADY.
SEAN
Thought Lola's Theme was gonna be the big tune along with Flashdance. This was until I heard "Amen" and Noho Pornstars "More Intensity", they are definitely gonna be huge runners up for the "tune of the summer"
Smokin Moe
Thought Lola's Theme was gonna be the big tune along with Flashdance. This was until I heard "Amen" and Noho Pornstars "More Intensity", they are definitely gonna be huge runners up for the "tune of the summer"
Smokin Moe
Definately Lolas Theme by Shapeshifters, and probably Junior Jack - Stupid Disco. They will be the main two i think.
Mark Thompson
Gonna be HUGE this summer are; Shapeshifters,'Lola's Theme', Deep Dish,'Flashdance', Stonebridge,'Put Em High', Richard F,'Feel The Sun Shine Through' & Eric Prydz,'Call On Me.' All 5 are just MAGIC!!!! :D
JoJo
of course "Lolas theme" is going to be number one, everyone loves, but im sure there are gonna be those little favs all over, but its all good
Mitch Brown - Canada
You people are all stupid crazy! It s got to be Richard F & Samantha Stock 'Let The Sunshine Through' on Subliminal for the summer, the white isle & the 24 hour isle (NYC)!!!
Promo Timothy, NYC
Lola's Theme with the new vocal is just Positiva's method of making the tune appeal to a commercial market. Its already doing the rounds here in the uk and thanks to mainstream radio stations and town jocks it will, like so many summer tunes, be killed off and make everybody reach for the skip button. However take the vocal off and hit the original which has been doing the circuit since December - sorted. I still think it will be one of the summers biggest tracks - still think there will be a few surprises this year, waits with pause, as dance music at the mo is bringing out no surprises..... sits and waits!
Grozney
Looking at the big choons of the summer from the underground scene, I think that Skylark´s "Shout", Tom Neville´s remix of "I See Girls", Deep Dish´s superb "Flashdance" and "In The Beginning" from Hool & Bruckheimer are all going to be massive. Another one to look out for come late season is a cheeky bootleg called "Just A Little More Hype" from yours truly.
Dave Marchant, Koppas Bar, San Antonio, Ibiza
Anything by Skylark will be massive this summer especially 'Shout' or the remix of 'Westworld'. Up the club class massive!!
Dj Switch
My god Shapeshifters - 'Lola's Theme' will SO be the song of the year for me. I get shiffers when I hear it, it just reminds me of Pete'y slaming them down at the sunset with a great bunch of people in a lovley Island. MAN I so want to be back!!
Keni
has anyone got a copy of the Eric Prydz - call on me?? there are all these other versions that seem to be floating around. I think this is the best of the bunch. As for ibiza tune, that Micheal Gray one, and Stellar project by phunk investigation
Adam maddox
Just got back from Ibiza today, big tunes are Eric Prydz Call On Me, richard F, and Stellar Project get up stand,
John Evans
The Tom Neville remix of studio B's "I see girls" is heavy. Should definitely get some recognition.
Sam
one amazing tune with good memories of sunrise already this summer "morning always come to soon"....cant remember the cat who made though??
taffs
Just come back from an early trip to Ibiza and experiencing the post-holiday blues. "Lola´s Theme", "Rocking Music" and "Put Em High" are still cutting it in the clubs & bars. Very uplifting. Enjoy the summer feeling :)
Nick J
Stellar Project - get up stand up, big one for me and ibiza i think
Colin
All I can say is the biggest tune for me this summer will be "Call on me" Eric Prydz can't wait to hear that tune at space !!!
sonny augusta
I'm glad to see that Call On me by Eric Prydz is finally getting released, if you go on to daft punks website all these other versions are rip offs. Nice one eRIC
Tommy
Whens call on me out by Eric Prydz??? this will be massive!
Mickey
I think the top tunes this year are going to be Shapeshifters Lola's Theme, but not with the very poor vocal that has just been released, Martin Solveig Rockin Music both the original mix and the Warren Clark Club Mix. & Danny Howells´s Dusk Til Dawn. All these tracks were out way before Christmas, but they still make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when i play them out. There has not been any good funky house tracks out so far this year that even compete with these.
Chrisco - London DJ
ibiza tune of summer 2004 will have to be "amen" by the flash brothers !! ibiza guitar & summer vocal all there 100%...
john garner
HITS of the Summer: Max Sedgley's "Happy", Shapeshifters' "Lola's Theme",
Paul Jackson' "Blockbuster", Cass and Tom Mangan "I Know You Know", Scent "Up and Down"
Igor
Shapeshifters "Lola's Theme" can't take it off my mind, amazing at Space Opening Party! Other picks are: Deep Dish - "Flashdance"
Eric Prydz - "Call On Me"
Yannis
Best summer tune since ever!!!!!!!!!
Anon
Even in the States this record is making a name for itself. It has been a huge hit for its short existance, perhaps it will remain a hit long enough to make it as a hit in Ibiza before it becomes overplayed and used on tampon commercials.
Scotty McCauley
I think it might have peaked a bit to early for the big 12inch of the summer and a dark hosre will come out of the pacha speakers to take clubbers breaths away... i think the best is to come from ibiza tunage and i just hope its at its best in july when we journey down to the Pacha main room where Tongy can take us on a massive mystical house tour
Scoffie
I used to love the instrumental shapeshifter, but i think that now it's becoming a bit boring.Junior Jack is my favourite together with Magnolia.I feel that they'll be massive in Ibiza.
polly
i think it's gonna be lola's theme and follow that up it's gonna be lou reeds satellite of love, i played lou reeds track last weekend, everyone had a big smile on there face, it's just such a feel good happy track :-)
Jason young Ireland
i think shapeshifters will keep me dancing all summer long!!!! but michael gray 'the weekend' just sends electric through right down to the very tips of my toes !!!!!
Sazzakins
Lola's theme is gonna be strong. There's a track called 'Your Love' by Scarpi forthcoming on Con Brio records. It's got a certain something about it. Reckon it will go far.
Matt
Lola's The Theme was much much better before the new vocal was added. Sounds to commercial now. Deep Dish 'Flashdance' will be huge this summer, i'm hopeing Richard F & Samantha Stock 'Let The Sunshine Through' will be too, such an uplifting tune. Anything that gets released from Felix Da Housecat's new album in the near future also deserves mucho recognition.
Priory
What about Magnolia "It'all in vain"?I personally think that is gonna be huge.My favourites for Ibiza are also: Eric Prydz "Woz not woz" and Lou Reed "Satellite of Love".
Vince Stanley
Shapeshifter has been kickin bout for while but is def the tune of da summer the feel good factor takes you back to the summers of dance lets bin the rnb guff going bout!!!!!!!!!!!
Weedo
Abso-freakin-loooootly, this song floored me the first time I heard it on Jules' set. Instant summer hit I say
Cerberus
Nikola Gala 'Swing To Harmony' Eric Prydz vs Steve Angelo 'Was not woz'
Lee Cabrera 'Voodoo Love'
& If the Tim Delux bootleg of seven Nation Army gets released, that will get played all over the island
Chimpy
i think havanafunk bakiraban will ben a big ibiza tune and electric tease corsica allso, and lolas thema shapeshifters.
jurgen
After hearing it played at Emporium, Cardiff on Friday and Ministry of Sound on Saturday, I reckon Lee Cabrera's hit the nail on the head with his remix of 'Call on me' by DJ Falcon and Thomas Bangaltar. This record rocks!
Al McCarley
Armand Van Helden 'My My My' n Deep Dish 'Flashdance' will b the tunes ov the summer
Steven
The new milk & sugar tune is filling my dance floor every night in Ibiza. The biggest floor filler has to be Stonebridge`s "Put'em High"
See you down Mambos on Fri Pete, Have a shot with Rob & Javi.
DJ Jaffa
how about the Flower Power track??
it's one of the most played tunes in Ibiza at the moment...
Adam Khan
The quality of tunes floating around this summer makes me sweat with anticipation! Whilst Solveig's Rocking Music and Deep Dishes' Flashdance will get me pumped up beyond belief, there is no stopping Shapeshifters Lola's Theme as the GUARANTEED FIST-THROWING FEET-STOMPING TOON OF THE SUMMER !!!
Shane
the tune of ibiza 2004 is going to be Teisto - Ardigio For Strings. this is a great uplifting track and will blow the crowd away at cream.
John Griffin
ALTAR - SEXERCISE will burst it up the gay clubs in Ibiza this summer. Its the perfect hit in tribal house style. Pay attention you all and hav fun. It's Ibiza tima!!!
Junior
Eric Prydz - Call On Me, this is amazing, i'm sure will be the ibiza 2004 anthem
TJ
Watch out from this one...
Flash Brothers - Amen
top tunes in ibiza for me is gonna have to be Junior Jack's Stupidisco and Deep Dish's Flashdance.TUUUUNES!!!
Birj, Leicester
Aye aye - Lola's Theme is champion! Gonna be huge this summer! Belta
Bernie
Don't know how big it will be but my favourite summer tune is by far: Richard F - Let The Sunshine Through. Lolas theme would be bigger if they hadn't killed it with such a poor vocal mix
JimHB
The choons being hammered in San Antonio so far are "Lola´s Theme" from the Shapeshifters, "Rocking Music" from Martin Solveig, and "Put Em High" from Stonebridge. Danny Howells´s "Dusk Til Dawn", Armand Van Helden´s "Hear My Name" and Lou Reed´s "Satellite Of Love" remix are also being hammered by the island´s residents.
Rob Marchant, Koppas Bar, San Antonio, Ibiza
This years Ibiza Tunes will be
Eric Morillo, Jose Nunez and Harry Romero:: Dancin (Fuzzy Hair Remix)
Skylark:: Thats More Like It
Bobby Blanco and Miki Moto:: 3 AM
and of Course Lolas Theme
Jon Driscoll
I was going to suggest shapeshifters-"Lolas theme" and Solvieg "Rock music" but i think you would have needed to ask me 2 months ago. They have already done their circuits in the airwaves, its now time to let others rule! This is where Ibiza season comes into its' own and prove that it isn't just the Miami WMC which produces the years top class summer choonage!
For me I am yet to see, or hear, a decent house tune to knock it off the top, but then again, the summer season has hardly begun! Let time take its tole! For me I think Trance will have a big come back this year, and a very special tune which i believe every euphoric Ibiza lover will want to hear time and time again to remember this years antics on the white Isle is DJ Tiesto "Just Be". This is an absolute gem of a tune and you can tell the man himself has put in great effort for this puppy throughout with amazing production capturing "the" most spot on blend of vocals and sounds I have heard in a while.
Garvmeister
its time- ferry corsten
clint findlay
I think the Insignificant Others remix of Harold Heath's "Long Relationships" is going to be massive.. Check it Pete..
Leigh Morgan
Massive Records I predict this year in Ibiza will be; Coca and Villa- La Noche, A-Studio- SOS (Skylark remix)
Nikola Gala- Swing to Harmony
Beloved-Harmony (Kosmos Epsilon mix)
Chiapet-Westworld (Skylark remix)
Richie Walton
Here are some of my top sunrise/sunset records for this season in Ibiza: Lucky Jim - Sun’ll Rise - Skint, The Album Leaf - Over The Pond - City Slang, Norah Jones - Sunrise (Radio Slave Mix) - CDR, A Man Called Adam - Barefoot Acoustic - Southern Fried. As far as the clubs go, I think Lola's Theme by Shapeshifters is happy enough to last the summer. Soul Mekanik have remixed Max Sedglely's 'Happy' in to slow but really effective club record and the Dab Hands Retouch of Lou Reed's 'Satelite of Love' is gonna go down really well on the Terrace this year. The other record that will also do well this year is Brad Carter's 'Morning Always Comes Too Soon'.. a great chorus and sure fire cross over record. Have a great summer everybody and keep it Blue!
Chris Coco - Radio1
