Shatta Wale

Shatta Wale discusses his new single, Incoming, and forthcoming album which take his sound in a new direction towards Afrobeats.

Shatta Wale is a giant of Ghanaian music, and his career to date has been based on reggae and dancehall. He has won a string of awards, has a copious number of hits, and is embraced by Jamaica's dancehall artists. He was also invited by Beyonce to feature on her song Already, part of the soundtrack of The Lion King movie.

In this edition of TIA Shatta Wale discusses his new single, Incoming, and forthcoming album which take his sound in a new direction towards Afrobeats. He has teamed up with Nigerian producer and singer Tekno, and Afrobeats Impresario Bankuli, also from Nigeria.
