Death row inmate survives two lethal injections

Lawyers acting for a Tennessee death row inmate, Christa Pike, say she has been taken to hospital after her heart was still beating following two lethal injections during her execution.

A flight from Dubai to Tel Aviv plunged twenty thousand feet after one pilot reported stabbed another and attempted to crash the plane. The airline has suspended flights to and from Israel as authorities investigate possible motives.

We speak to a volunteer doctor who has just returned from Gaza on conditions in the territory nearly one year after a ceasefire was announced.
