Trump threatens legal action against BBC

BBC chairman has apologised for an "error of judgement".

BBC director general Tim Davie and CEO of News Deborah Turness resigned on Sunday night, after a leaked memo criticised a 2024 Panorama programme about the US president. BBC chair Samir Shah has apologised for an "error of judgement" in how a documentary edited a speech by Donald Trump. President Trump has threatened to sue the BBC over the documentary.
