Sudan's capital hit by drone attacks

Hopes of a pause in fighting have been dashed with reports of drone strikes.

Explosions have been heard near the Sudanese capital of Khartoum, a day after the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) said it would agree to a humanitarian ceasefire. The Sudanese government has called for international guarantees that paramilitary rebels will respect a ceasefire they've signed up to, before it agrees to do the same. We speak to our BBC Verify colleagues who have been looking through satelite data, photos, videos and more to try and get a better picture of what exactly happened during RSF's violent capture of the city of el-Fasher.

We speak to gamers about the news that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been delayed - for a second time - until 19 November 2026.

Viktor Orban, Hungary’s prime minister, is visiting the White House to try to resolve a dispute over Russian oil and gas. Our correspondent explains what's expected from the talks.

We hear from three immigrant workers in New York as they react to Zohran Mamdani’s historic election as mayor.
