Around 40 people killed in Swiss bar fire

Police say around 40 people were killed and over one hundred injured after a fire ripped through a bar were people were celebrating new year's eve in Switzerland. Officials are warning it could take days or even weeks to identify everyone.

We look at the growing unrest in Iran. Demonstrations have claimed more lives on a fifth day of protests over the soaring cost of living.

And the democratic politician Zohran Mamdani has been sworn in as the first Muslim Mayor of New York City. He assured every New Yorker "I am your mayor".
