Around 40 killed in Swiss fire
Police say around 40 people have died and over one hundred injured.
Around 40 people died in a fire that ripped through a bar in the Swiss ski resort of Crans-Montana in the early hours of New Year's day. The fire broke out at a bar called Le Constellation. Police say another 115 were injured.
The new Mayor of New York, Zohran Mamdani, has given his inaugural address. We take a look at his speech.
And we speak to the Kenyan writer, Tony Mochama. He travelled with his young son to Tanzania to pay his respect for the first time to his grandfather who died in the second world war. Until now they knew little of what had happened to their family member in the war.
