Kenyans fighting in Ukraine for Russia

Young Kenyans are being lured to Russia with promises of well paid jobs, are getting caught up in the war in Ukraine. Today we hear the story of one man who has just returned back home.

Ukraine's Volodymyr Zelensky has given details of an updated peace plan offering Russia the potential withdrawal of Ukrainian troops from the east and the creation of a demilitarised zone in their place.

Somalia’s capital, Mogadishu, is today holding its first local elections by universal suffrage in more than half a century. More than one million people have registered to vote, although fewer than half have collected their voter cards, in a contest that’s already proving controversial.
