Peace agreement between Rwanda and DR Congo

Paul Kagame and Felix Tshisekedi signed a peace agreement in Washington at the newly named Donald J. Trump US Institute of Peace.

The leaders of Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo have signed a peace agreement in Washington to end the long- running conflict in the eastern DRC. President Trump hosted Paul Kagame and Felix Tshisekedi in a ceremony at the newly renamed Donald J. Trump US Institute of Peace. Mr Trump called it a great day for Africa and the world.

And the Eurovision Song Contest has been thrown into turmoil after four countries said they would boycott next year's event. Ireland, Spain, the Netherlands and Slovenia want Israel to be excluded from the contest because of the war in Gaza.
