
Kremlin: Ukraine talks "constructive" but no breakthrough
The Russian president Vladimir Putin and US envoy Steve Witkoff have been holding talks in Moscow
There's been no breakthrough on the search for peace in Ukraine despite five hours of talks in Moscow. But both Russia and the United States say some progress was made. Earlier this week, the Kremlin said Russia had fully captured the key Donbas town of Pokrovsk, after more than a year of heavy fighting -- though Ukraine's military insists it's still engaging the enemy. We speak to an active serviceman in the region.
Hong Kong's leader says an independent committee will investigate the cause of the city's deadliest fire in decades which killed 151 people last week. Many remain missing. Officials have found substandard building materials used in the tower block helped the blaze to spread quickly. We'll bring you an update on the investigation.
And we speak to the head of the International Organisation on Migration on her organisations findings on the number of rising global migrants and her observations of how this is playing out in Mozambique as she pays a visit to that country.
