Little or no aid reaches northern Gaza

Residents say the price of flour has doubled in recent days.

No aid trucks have entered northern Gaza since an Israeli strike killed seven aid workers on Monday. Aid groups working in Gaza have demanded that the Israeli army improve and adhere to security procedures aimed at keeping their workers safe. We hear from an aid worker in Rafah and speak to our correspondent.

Juan Vicente Pérez Mora, who held the title of the oldest living man, has died at the age of 114. We speak to a journalist who knew him.

The first man to receive a genetically modified kidney transplant from a pig has been discharged from hospital. We hear from a surgeon who oversaw the transplantation and speak to people with kidney disease.
