First death from coronavirus outside China

The Philippines has reported the first death outside China from the new coronavirus, a 44 year old man who had recently been in Wuhan.

Also on the programme: the US announces it is expanding curbs on immigration to include six more countries, including Nigeria, Africa's most populous nation. And, in Iowa democratic presidential hopefuls are racing around the state trying to secure supporters ahead of next week’s caucus.
