Thousands gather to protest in Hong Kong
The demonstration is expected to be the biggest since the 2014 "Umbrella" movement.
Tens of thousands of people are out on the streets in Hong Kong to oppose a proposed extradition law which critics fear could allow the Chinese authorities to target political enemies in the territory. Opposition activists say sending suspected law breakers to the mainland to face trial would threaten judicial independence. The law's supporters accuse their opponents of politicising the proposal.
Also on the programme the Sudanese opposition has called for "civil disobedience" after three senior figures were arrested by the government. We hear the latest from Khartoum. And we also hear from France as this year's Women's World Cup enters its third day.
