Who is the man behind the killing of protesters in Sudan?

We hear about Mohamed Hemedti, the head of the RSF.

Last week's horrific events in Sudan ended with dozens of pro-democracy protesters killed and hundreds injured. A paramilitary unit called the RSF, short for the Rapid Response Force, has been blamed for the actions. It is headed by Mohamed Hemedti and we hear from a man who has met him.

Also on the programme, the United Arab Emirates has been a focal point of tension between the United States and Iran after four oil tankers situated just off that country's coast were attacked last month. We hear from Anwar Gargash, the Emirati minister for foreign affairs. And we also hear about the use and abuse of algorithms in policing, and the lack of supervision over their use.
