The challenge of childcare

We take a look at childcare policies in different parts of the world.

We take a look at childcare policies in different parts of the world. We hear from working parents in the UK and Nigeria about the challenges they face in funding childcare. Sally Boyle is international head of human resources at the investment bank Goldman Sachs, who explains why they have chosen to offer on-site daycare in many of their offices. And Fabienne O'Neill, co-founder of co-working space with a flexible nursery Cuckooz Nest tells us how its scheme might catch on. Also in the programme, chief executive of drinks giant Diageo discusses how its customers seem to be opting for better quality brands of alcohol. Plus there are fears in Kenya that the country's donkey population could be wiped out if nothing is done to top the slaughter rate, because of China's insatiable demand for the gelatine produced from boiling their skins. The BBC's Ferdinand Omondi in Nigeria brings us the story.
