Final vote on Brexit deal

Members of the European Parliament are voting to ratify the Brexit deal

The European Parliament are giving a final approval to the terms of the UK's departure from the European Union in a historic vote today. Our political correspondent Rob Watson and Brussels correspondent Adam Fleming explain.

As the number of confirmed cases of the coronavirus approaches 6000, more countries plan to bring their citizens home from Wuhan, the Chinese city at the centre of the outbreak. We'll speak to people on Christmas Island, where Australia plans to quarantine its citizens, who are being brought back from China.

We also discuss when is it ok to speak ill of the death. Kobe Bryant’s death has sparked an online conversation about this, as he’s being remembered as an beloved celebrity but also as a man, who was accused of rape.
