Trump impeachment inquiry: televised hearings begin
The first public hearings in President Trump's impeachment inquiry have begun.
We’ll be monitoring the proceedings of the first open hearings in the impeachment inquiry into President Trump. We explain the key facts around the inquiry, and gather voices from around the country to hear how much interest there is for the story. We also bring together two congressional correspondents for an insight into challenges of covering the story.
Also: we go to Australia, where a police officer in the Northern Territory has been charged with murder over a shooting of a teenage Indigenous man. The shooting had sparked protests in the country.
We also hear from people in Venice, where severe flooding has left much of the city under water.
