Activist shot in Hong Kong protests
There have been violent clashes in Hong Kong between police and pro-democracy protesters.
Demonstrations have been held in several areas of Hong Kong, including in the financial district. It comes hours after Beijing marked 70 years since the Communist Party came to power with extravagant celebrations. We get more details from BBC Chinese and our China media analyst. We also put some audience questions to our regional experts.
We also go to the Netherlands where tractor-driving farmers have been demonstrating against recommendations that could force them to dramatically cut down production. They've caused the worst ever morning traffic jam in the country. We hear from a farmer and from our correspondent in the protest.
And we speak to the brother of a 16-year-old boy in the US, who took his own life after his classmates outed him.
