It was caused by heavy rains in the states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar
Unusually heavy late monsoon rains have caused floods in the northern states of Uttar Pradesh and Bihar in India. Railway and road traffic, healthcare services, schools and power supply have been disrupted in both states. We hear from those affected and from our reporter in Bihar.
We speak to a protester in Haiti who tells us about fuel and food shortages. Tensions are high and people in the streets are demanding the resignation of President Jovenel Moise.
