Greta Thunberg gives emotional speech at UN climate summit

World leaders are discussing how to tackle climate change and global warming

Leaders from around the world are meeting at the UN climate action summit in New York. They will be discussing how to tackle climate change and global warming, and will be making promises as to how their countries will take action. We will bring you the summit live and ask people from around the world what they would promise if they were there.

And today we are celebrating 25 years of the BBC Great Lakes service. It started in the aftermath of the genocide in Rwanda, as an emergency lifeline service trying to re-unite displaced families across the Great Lakes region. It's now a provider of news and information in the Kinyarwanda and Kirundi languages. We'll speak to some of the journalists involved with the service.
