
More civilians killed in Afghanistan
At least 35 people have died in the latest attack in Afghanistan.
A roadside bomb has hit a bus travelling from Herat to Kandahar in western Afghanistan, killing at least 35 people and injuring 27 others. The vehicle was packed with women and children and university students going home for the summer. We have spoken to a woman from Kandahar about the security and travelling in the country.
In Japan 11 people have died and thousands have been hospitalised because of a heatwave across the country. We hear from a meteorologist in Tokyo.
And our reporter in Delhi gives an update on one of most talked about stories in India at the moment. Police have opened a murder investigation against a ruling party lawmaker after a fatal crash involving a woman who had accused him of rape.
