'El Chapo' sentenced to life in prison

Officials say the Mexican drug lord's cartel was the biggest supplier of drugs to the US

In the US, a judge has sentenced Mexican drug kingpin Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán to life in prison plus 30 years. Guzmán was found guilty of 10 charges, including drug trafficking and money laundering by a federal court in February.

Also, the four Democratic congresswomen targeted by President Trump's controversial tweets have condemned him in an interview with CBS. The tweets have been called racist by some critics. Their comments come after the US House of Representatives voted to condemn President Trump for his comments on Tuesday. Mr Trump responded to the criticism by saying: "I don't have a racist bone in my body!" We hear the conversation between Republican supporters about how these tweets will affect the 2020 presidential election.

Also, we talk about a deal that has been struck between Sudan's ruling military council and opposition leaders to try to end months of protests.
