Miss India contest criticised for lack of diversity

Many people are noting that all the finalists have fair skin

A photo of the finalists taking part in this year's 'Miss India' beauty pageant is being shared widely online. Many people are criticising the organisers, saying that all the women are fair-skinned and look similar. We hear reaction from Indian women.

Also, the latest from Washington D.C. as three more prominent Democrats call for the impeachment of President Trump. It's after Special Counsel Robert Mueller said his investigation into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election had not exonerated Mr Trump of obstruction of justice - contradicting the president's claims.

And we hear from Russia after a company there offered female staff cash bonuses to wear skirts or dresses to work. The aluminium manufacturer is running a "femininity marathon" campaign. Female staff are paid $1.50 on top of their regular wages if they wear a dress or skirt "no longer than five centimetres from the knee" and send the company a picture.
