US attorney general faces contempt vote over Mueller report

A key Congressional panel is due to vote on whether the Attorney General, William Barr, should be held in contempt of Congress for refusing to issue the full report.

We'll go to Washington to hear about the contempt proceedings against Attorney General Bill Barr over his refusal to submit an unredacted version of Special Counsel Robert Mueller's report. President Donald Trump has hit back by asserting executive privilege over the report, shielding it from public view.

Iran has suspended commitments under the 2015 international nuclear deal, a year after it was abandoned by the US. BBC Persian reporter gives background to the story.
