India election results 2019: Narendra Modi secures landslide win
Many viewed the election as a referendum on Mr Modi who also won in 2014.
The Indian prime minister Narendra Modi has secured another five-year term after winning a landslide general election victory. Results so far show his BJP is set to win about 300 of the 543 seats in parliament.
Also in the programme: Archaeologists in the United States have found the remains of the last ship to bring slaves to America; and the British children's author Judith Kerr has died at the age of 95.
