Zimbabwe On The Eve Of Critical Elections
Zimbabwe is on the cusp of the first post-Mugabe elections; 6.4 magnitude quake on Lombok
Zimbabwe is about to see its first post-Mugabe elections, with the economy seen as the main campaign issue. The incumbent President Emmerson Mnangagwa's main challenger is Nelson Chamisa of the Movement for Democratic Change. Knox Chitiyo, a fellow of the Africa Programme at Chatham House who's recently been in Zimbabwe gives us a preview.
Also in the programme: a 6.4 magnitude quake strikes the central Indonesian island of Lombok; and we hear from the lead vocalist of Tootard, a self-defined mountain rock reggae band from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.
