Justin Trudeau admits 'erosion of trust'

The Canadian leader admits mistakes were made in handling of SNC-Lavalin corruption case

The Canadian Prime Minister has denied putting inappropriate pressure on his Justice Minister, who resigned over a corruption case against the engineering giant SNC-Lavalin. However Mr Trudeau has admitted making mistakes in his handling of the case. We speak to our reporter in Toronto about the potential political fallout of a story that is dominating national headlines.

Also we go to Sudan, where women have been taking part in a march to mark the role women have played in recent protests. The demonstrations started two months ago. They were initially over rising living costs, but became a call for the president Omar al-Bashir - who's been in power for 30 years - to stand down.

And we hear about the discovery of more than a hundred insect species that are new to science on an Indonesian island.
