
Algeria: Hundreds protest against the president
Hundreds of lawyers are demonstrating against President Abdelaziz Bouteflika
Hundreds of lawyers have marched in protest in the streets of the Algerian capital, Algiers, demanding that President Abdelaziz Bouteflika step down after 20 years in power. Mr Bouteflika's decision to put himself forward for a fifth term in office has led to a series of protests across the country in recent weeks. We get the latest.
Also, in the United States a federal judge will announce the length of a prison sentence for President Donald Trump's former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort. Manafort has been found guilty of financial crimes and could be sentenced to 20 years behind bars.We hear from our White House correspondent.
And there have been protests by students in South Africa, saying they cannot afford to pay university fees and therefore cannot graduate. We speak to one student who's story went viral after an interview on South African radio. He tells us about how people are now coming together to pay his fees.
