11-year old Argentine girl has C-section

Doctors carried out a C-section on an 11-year old after decision on abortion was delayed.

News that doctors performed a caesarean section on an 11-year-old rape victim has reignited a debate on Argentina's abortion rules. The BBC Online Latin America regional editor Vanessa Buschschluter explains what happened.

Also, we speak to student reporters who took part in the “Since Parkland” project. They are among 200 young journalists who wrote obituaries of 1200 young gunshot victims in the US. They want to "reveal the human stories behind the statistics".

And we tap into a debate happening in the UK. A member of parliament, David Lammy, has criticised a TV presenter, Stacey Dooley, for a photo of her holding a young boy in Uganda. Mr Lammy said: "The world does not need any more white saviours". We hear views from around the world.
